Gregory George Gibson, 54, of Dry Ridge, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at his residence. Greg was a gentle soul who loved animals (he was rarely seen without a dog), and he enjoyed outdoor activities and roller coasters. He also loved music, he was a “Dead Head”, and he was developing a love for Astronomy.
Survivors include his mother, Alberta Townes of Florence; brother, John (Raul Rodriguez) Gibson of New York, NY; sister, Audrey (David) Whitley of Burlington; his dog, Teddy. He was preceded in death by his father, George Walter Gibson and stepfather, James R. Townes.
Visitation is on Friday, March 4, 2022, from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at 12:30 PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY.
Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill, KY.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Grant County Animal Shelter, 218 Barnes Road, Williamstown, KY 41097.
The family request that everyone wear a mask during the visitation and service, for the safety of those who are immunocompromised.
