Leonard Eugene “Scotty” Lovins, 82, of Union, KY passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood. He was born on December 6, 1938 in Bobtown, KY to James Milton Lovins and Dovie Herrion Lovins. Scotty proudly served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps and was honorably discharged on March 20, 1963. He retired from Unaflex Rubber Company in Ft. Lauderdale, FL in 2004.
He is survived by 3 granddaughters, Angela (Mike) Foulks of Union, Crystal and Lacey Taylor both of Florence; 5 great grandchildren, Taylor (Natalie) Foulks, Tristan and Jadyce Taylor, Italia and Nevada Mullins, and one great great granddaughter, Charlie Foulks. Also surviving are 3 sisters, Lexie Bray, Paula Fulk, Hazel Keller and 1 brother, Murrell Lovins. Scotty is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Nancy Lovins; daughter, Sheila Taylor; 6 brothers and 2 sisters.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill, KY.
