Charles "Chuck" T. Pierce, 80, of Bromley went home to be with his savior Monday, March 22nd, 2021, at his childhood home in Bromley, surrounded by his family. Chuck was a very devoted husband and father who spent his life serving his family, church, and community. He served in the US Air Force from 1960 - 1964 as a telecommunications specialist. Chuck was an active member of the Bromley and Ludlow Vets. He spent many years as a member of the Bromley Fire Department and City Council. He spent his career at Central Service in Cincinnati, Ohio, and later became a valued employee at Ludlow Independent Schools. He was an active member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in Bromley.
Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Dorothy Kiefer Pierce and sister, Peggy Pierce Hyndman.
Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Shirley Ann Masters Pierce of Bromley; he was an extremely loving and devoted father to sons, Mark (Terri) Pierce of Milford, Ohio, Brad (Rachel) Pierce of Florence and daughters, Pam (Keith) Johnson of Hebron and Wendi (David) Griffith of Lexington; he was the proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
A Celebration of Life Service with Military Honors will be held at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Bromley on Sunday, March 28th. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM with Celebration of Life Service following.
