Wendell Barger, 58, of Dry Ridge, passed away on

Thursday, November 28

, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. Wendell was the Vice President of Operations for Edgewood Electric Company. He had a lifelong passion for drag racing, working on cars and crab legs.

Wendell is preceded in death by his parents  Talfie and Jeanette Barger.

Survivors include his loving wife, Lora Barger of Dry Ridge; son, Wendell (Tami) Barger, Jr. of Dry Ridge; daughters, Naomi Schloemer of Walton, Andrea (James) Smith of Florence; sisters, Sandra Rumping of Ludlow, Margaret Barnes of Columbus, IN, Mary Woods of Norwood; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
