Lee Quinn

Lee Griffin Quinn, 84, passed away peacefully on Monday December 31, 2018 at his home in Lakeside Park surrounded by family. Lee attended St Xavier High School and Xavier University and served in the SeaBees Division of the U.S. Navy in Guantanamo Bay. He was the President of Stetter Wine Company and owner of Hoberg Distributing. Lee was the Founder and Owner of Ken Anderson Distributing, where he was President in the Distributorship in Erlanger, Kentucky, which serviced the Greater Cincinnati Marketplace, as well as Ken Anderson Distributing in Dayton, Ohio.   He also, owned Hoberg Distributing in Batavia, Ohio, catering to all of Cincinnati’s Eastern Suburbs.  He was the President of the California Wine Advisory Board. He approached business the way he approached life: in both he was a champion of others and a perfect gentleman. Lee served on the California Wine Advisory Board, The Point Board of Ambassadors and the board of Five Seasons Sports Club. He was a lifelong member of Blessed Sacrament Church, where he served as a lector and an usher, and he was a member of Summit Hills Country Club for over 50 years. Lee enjoyed golf and tennis and was an avid sports fan, but the true joy of his life was his large family.

He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Charlotte Hahn Quinn; his son, Gregg Quinn; and his five daughters, Tracy (Tom) Bowers, Tara Summe, Colleen Quinn, Molly (Mike) Hartmann, and Shannon (Raul) Rosado. He is also lovingly remembered by his 16 grandchildren, Brian and Eric Quinn, Katie Quinn Culbertson, Emily Bowers Chen, Maggie Bowers Samaha, Jackson Bowers, Suzanne, Zachary and Stephanie Summe, Elliot, Erin and Lindsay Hartmann, and Matthew, Michael, Mia and Max Rosado along with 3 great-grandchildren. Lee is also survived by his brothers, Donald (Pat) Quinn and Gordon Quinn and preceded in death by his sisters, Virginia Quinn Maloney and Susan Quinn Turney.

Our special thanks to Janine Hollon and Jacki Wood R.N. and all the others at Bluegrass Hospice.
