Florence “Ellen” Ellis, 88, of Lakeside Park, passed away of Saturday, December 15, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. She loved to travel out West and spend time with her family. Ellen also never met a stranger and touched the hearts of many.
Survivors include her niece, Janice (Allan) Smith of Walton; great nephew, Ryan Smith of Walton and her great- great nephew, Colton Smith of Walton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. Ellis; parents, John and Ollie Nelson and sister, Katherine Harris.
Visitation is on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the hour of Service at 12:00 PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016. Interment in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, KY. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Susan G. Komen, Attn: Donor Services, PO Box 650309 Dallas, TX 75265-0309. Ronald B.
