James D. Knox
James D. Knox, 73, of Covington., passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. James was a member of Garrard Street Church of Christ and loved his church family, especially his pastor and friend, Eric Snider. He also started a Bible Study for the residents of Panorama Apartments. James retired from Delta Airlines after 33 years of service where he was a Delta Pioneer receiving many awards for excellent customer service. He graduated in 1966 from Ole Miss and had a passion for coin collecting. He was a very caring person who always put others first.
Survivors include his loving daughter, Elizabeth (Ben) Kirkpatrick of Saltillo, MS; sister, Nancy Morris of Biloxi, MS; 3 grandchildren, Ashley Blake Owens, Jordyn Owens and Tanner Owens and 1 great-grandchild, Adaleigh Gann.
Memorial Services are on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM in Garrard Street Church of Christ, 218 Garrard St, Covington, KY 41011.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Garrard Street Church of Christ.
