James K. Phelps
James K. Phelps, 62, of Erlanger, passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at his residence. He was a Switchman for Norfolk Southern Railroad.
Jimmy enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, watching horse racing and camping, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Rosie Phelps of Erlanger, daughter, Nicole (Jeffery) Nussbaum of Elsmere; son, David (Lindsey) Phelps of Edgewood; brothers, Harold Phelps, Bobby Phelps; sisters, Dean Pittman, Iva Poynter, Vicki O’Brien, grandchildren, Avery Phelps, Gage Nussbaum, Rylee Phelps and Kellis “KJ” Nussbaum.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Billy and Dewey Phelps and sisters, Marcella Wilburn and Wanda Mosley.
Visitation is on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 4:00 PM till the hour of Memorial Service at 6:00 PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
Interment is at the convenience of the family in Clay Hill Cemetery, Somerset, KY.
