John Edward Dalton, 50, of Independence, passed away peacefully at home on Friday August 17
th
. John was the youngest son of Betty Jo Dalton and Boyd Francis Dalton. He is preceded in death by his father, Boyd Francis Dalton and sister, Hellen Patricia Dalton. In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Tina Dalton, 3 children, Johnathan Dillon Dalton of Florence, Jennifer Holt of Latonia, and Bobbi Whittamore of Eminence Ky, and the proud papaw of 7 grandchildren. He is also survived by his 11 brothers and sisters, Jimmy Dalton, Gary Dalton, Linda Mansfield, Ronald Dalton, David Dalton, Jeff Dalton, Keith Dalton, Tim Dalton, Mary Crocker and Jeanie Caton.
John was an inspiration to many with his hands-on capabilities to fix just about anything. He enjoyed dirt track racing and was also a car enthusiast, most knew him for his favorite car which he called “Christine”, a blue 1970 Oldsmobile Convertible 442.
Please join us for the Visitation on Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at 12:00 PM all in Ronald B Jones Funeral home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow.
Interment immediately following at Highland Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell Ky.
