Donald E. Allender, 83, of Ft. Mitchell, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Rosedale Green in Latonia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Ethel (Winter) Allender and wife, Nan (Baugh) Allender.
He is survived by his daughters, Kristi (Tom) Fowler of Ft. Myers, FL and Joy Allender of Ft. Mitchell; sister, Norma Rhodes of Ludlow; nephews, Keith and Brian Rhodes and other many family members and friends. Don retired from Cincinnati Gas & Electric Co. and was a lifelong member of St. John’s Congregational Church where he served in many capacities over the years. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, and uncle, and a loving friend to many.
Visitation is Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 4:30PM to the hour of Service at 7:00PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm St., Ludlow, KY 41016.
Private Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger, KY.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude and thanks to the compassionate caregivers at Rosedale Green who lovingly cared for Don for the past few months.
