Edith B. Armstrong, 88, of Ludlow, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018. She was an Executive Secretary to the Vice President at the Kroger Company in Cincinnati. Edith was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Ludlow, where she was a Sunday school teacher, a member of the choir and member of the Baptist Women’s Circle. She was also an avid bowler and card player.
Survivors include her brother, Bernie Gaines of Louisville, KY; local nieces and nephews, Doris (Dave) Whitley, Paula (John) Guzman, Barbara (Jim) Livingston and Greg Holmes. Also survived by many more nieces and nephews across the state.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Armstrong (9-15-09); four brothers and four sisters.
Visitation is on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 10:00 AM to the hour of Service at 12:00 PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
Interment in Wilmington Cemetery, Fiskburg, KY.
