Annette G. Smith, 94, of Crescent Springs, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at the Baptist Convalescent Center in Newport. Professionally she was a retired Legal Secretary but creatively she was a portrait and landscape artist, clothes designer, part time local actress as identical twin (with twin sister, Jo Ann) in Harriet Beecher Stowe’s “Harriet” at the former Schubert Theatre. She was also a Buick Twin for General Motors new car introduction, a Gibson Greeting Card gift-wrap representative, Fiber Artist and Quilter. Annette was a member of Bridgetown Church of Christ where she volunteered her time as a Church Office Assistant and Vacation Bible School Teacher.
She is survived by her daughter, Jo Ann Hague Abel of Crescent Springs; son, Wayne Allan Hague of Erlanger; niece, Pat Medlock of Wilmore, KY; 3 grandchildren, Jennie Clemons, Patrick Abel and Alex Hague; 2 great-grandchildren, Jimmy and Justin Clemons.
Annette was preceded in death by her identical twin sister, Jo Ann Bonsib of Wilmore, KY and niece, Bonnie Gammon of Bloomington, IN.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of her life on Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 3:00 PM until the hour of Service starting at 5:00 PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St Elizabeth Hospice, 483 South Loop Drive, Edgewood, KY 41017.
