James Drahman, 56, of Independence, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at his residence. He loved and was dedicated to his church, Pentecostal Holiness House of Deliverance Church in Newport. James was a great husband, father and grandfather. He was his family’s hero! With his great faith, James kept a positive attitude throughout his life and knew that “Every good athlete knows when to sit down”. Everyone who knew James knew he was an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan, "He bled blue".
Survivors include his loving wife, Kim Drahman of Independence; sons Joey (Erin) Drahman of Independence, Adam (Nicolette) Drahman of Elsmere; brother, Jerry Drahman of DeMossville, KY, Kevin Ellison of Park Hills; sister, Julie Laible of Covington; grandchildren, Chase, Maicey, Joey, Adam, Jacob, and Lily.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Devin Drahman.
Visitation is on Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 9:00 AM to the hour of Service at 10:30 AM all in Pentecostal Holiness House of Deliverance Church, 626 Washington Ave., Newport, KY 41071.
Interment in Mother of God Cemetery, Latonia, KY.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested Pentecostal Holiness House of Deliverance Church.
