Roger W. Vallandingham
Roger W. Vallandingham, 76, of Crestview Hills, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, September 23, 2016. He was a switchman for the CSX Railroad. Roger was a member of Central Church of the Nazarene. He was the former President and Vice President of the Boone Lake Club. He was an avid fisherman. Roger also loved sports. He was a fan of the Cincinnati Bengals, Reds, University of Kentucky Basketball and an avid follower of Peyton Manning.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents Helen and Kurtis Vallandingham; brothers, John and Max Vallandingham and sisters, Jenny Bock and Nancy Tarter.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years Gladys Vallandingham; daughters, Shelley (Tim) Brannock of Alexandria, Debbie (Mike) Finfrock of Florence, Beth (Tim) Kaiser of Independence; brothers, Larry (Sharon) Vallandingham of Ludlow, Richard (Lois) Vallandingham of Villa Hills; sister, Beverly Dean of Taylor Mill and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, September 26, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with the service Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home. 316 Elm Street Ludlow, Kentucky 41016.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
