Thomas William Shepherd, 76, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. He was a retired Installer for Loth Office Furniture Co. Tom played football for Holmes High School in 1956. He was an avid golfer who loved watching sports and still played softball at Softball City in Covington. He was a past Assistant Director for Boys and Girls Club of Covington. Tom managed Lookout Bowl in Ft. Wright for many years and loved working at Traditions Golf Course in Hebron.
Survivors include his devoted wife, Margaret Berling Shepherd of Florence: sons, Scott (Jill) Shepherd of Union, Thomas J (Maryann) Shepherd of Florence; daughter, Tammy Coker of Florence; brother, Jim Shepherd of Villa Hills; sister, Susan Clayton of Montgomery, AL, Patty Miller of Taylor Mill; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 5:00 PM to the hour of memorial service at 6:00 PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm St., Ludlow, KY 41016.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Thomas Shepherd Memorial Fund made payable to Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home.
