John Newell Combs, Sr., 70, of Erlanger, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. He was a retired owner of Combs Printing Company in Bromley. He was a member of Beaver Lick Baptist Church in Union and a member of OYAM in Ludlow. He loved golfing and bowling where he threw six or seven 300 games of which two were back to back.
Survivors include his loving wife, Debbie Combs of Erlanger; sons, John (Carol) Combs, Jr. of Southgate, Jeremy (Katrina) Combs of Elsmere, Michael (Makisha) Weber of Ft. Thomas; daughters, Gina Beck of Willington, Ohio, Michelle (Gregory) Engle of Independence; brothers, Marcus Sparks of Andrews, NC, Leslie Combs of Erlanger; sister, Wavel Mullins of Union; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Friday, November 6, 2015 from 10:00 AM to the hour of service at 12:00 PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
Interment in Beaver Lick Cemetery, Union, KY. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the John Combs, Sr. memorial fund made payable to Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
