Mary Jo Schaeper, 79, of Cincinnati, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Madonna Manor in Villa Hills. She was a retired Secretary to the Dean, and worked at the Career Planning and Placement Office at Xavier University in Cincinnati. Mary Jo was a member of St. Vivian Church in Cincinnati where she was on the Worship Committee. She was also in a prayer group at the Holy Spirit Center in Norwood and took Holy Communion to the sick at Good Samaritan Hospital. Mary Jo worked at North College Hill Bakery and Graeter’s after her retirement.
Survivors include her devoted husband, Donald Schaeper of Cincinnati; sons, Rev. Larry Schaeper of Ludlow, Terry (Patty) Schaeper of Edgewood, Deacon James Schaeper of Fort Wright; brother, Donald Mellott of Western Hills; sister, Margie Frommeyer of Western Hills and 1 grandchild, Stephen.
Visitation is on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
Mass of Christian Burial is on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 11:30 AM in Sts. Boniface and James Church, 304 Oak Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to The American Diabetes Association, 2805 W. McMicken Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio 45225.
